Plan the Required Views
The manufacturer lists an optional 360-degree thread-damage inspection arrangement. Its suitability and coverage should be reviewed against the actual thread and defect samples. Include the material, finish, expected part condition and the surfaces that need inspection. Feeding, collection and additional packaging requirements can also be discussed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 360-degree inspection included as standard?
It is a configuration option. Describe the thread features and defect types you need to inspect so that the required views can be assessed.
What information defines an acceptable part?
Provide dimensional tolerances and labelled examples of acceptable, rejected and borderline parts. These establish the scope for an application trial and acceptance review.
How is the production output confirmed?
Submit the target output and inspection requirements together. The operating conditions and acceptance procedure should be agreed for the selected configuration.
