Six-Side Optical Inspection for Chip Resistors
The Unitecho chip resistor visual inspection machine checks SMD resistors for electrode and ceramic-body dimensions and visible appearance defects. Six inspection sides support the evaluation of damage, missing material, contamination, discoloration, visible cracks and abnormal printed markings. The inspection criteria are defined for the component package and representative samples.

These published figures are package-specific references, not a guaranteed production rate for every inspection task. Confirm the attainable output with the actual parts, feeding conditions, defect criteria and camera settings. Camera frame rate and image pixel size are separate specifications and do not establish inspection throughput or measurement accuracy on their own.
Define the Defects and Acceptance Limits
Provide the component drawing, package code, electrode and body tolerances, and labelled images of acceptable and rejected parts. Include variations in marking, color and surface condition. Samples near the acceptance boundary help define how each defect should be classified and which sorting bin should receive it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this equipment measure electrical resistance?
The inspection scope described here is optical appearance and dimensional checking. If resistance measurement is required, state it separately so that the required electrical test process can be reviewed.
Can all cracks be detected?
Crack evaluation depends on whether the feature is visible in the selected camera views, lighting and samples. This page does not specify an internal-defect inspection method. Send representative defects for an application assessment.
How should I request a configuration?
Share drawings, sample photographs, defect categories, acceptance limits, target output and the required OK/NG collection arrangement. Confirm the package-code convention and actual component dimensions before selecting the handling setup.
